Week 9 – Lower – 🦈

Another vacation day, another hotel lift.
Didn’t think it could get worse than yesterday, but it did. I have no idea what the deal is with the Technogym machines. I’d like to assume the weights are in kilograms, but even that doesn’t make much sense.
Lower body looked like this:
Seated Leg Curls:
Set 1: 120 lbs x 6 reps
Set 2: 100 lbs x 10 reps
Leg Extensions:
Set 1: 155 lbs x 8 reps
Set 2: 155 lbs x 7 reps
Leg Press:
Set 1: 300 lbs x 15 reps
Set 2: 340 lbs x 10 reps
Set 3: 380 lbs x 9 reps
Calf Raises:
Set 1: 280 lbs x 18 reps
Set 2: 340 lbs x 11 reps
I refuse to believe I ate enough Chipotle to lose all my strength. That said, even with the weird weights I did get a decent quad pump by the end.
Small victories.
Heading back to Montreal tomorrow. Overall the lifts were rough, but the vacation time was awesome. The kids had a blast — one of our best March Breaks to date.
Rest day tomorrow. Sunday morning we’ll see how this bulk week went.
