Brock posing

Excellent rest day yesterday with some light cardio and abs. Took some cold medicine before bed to make sure this cold was gone, and it seems to have worked.

Woke up feeling great and hit Gold’s with the following setlist:

Trap Bar Deadlift:
Set 1: 350 lbs x 8 reps
Set 2: 350 lbs x 8 reps

Seated Leg Curls:
Set 1: 150 lbs x 7 reps
Set 2: 140 lbs x 9 reps

Calf Raises:
Set 1: 450 lbs x 12 reps
Set 2: 450 lbs x 10 reps

Hip Thrust (plate-loaded machine):
Set 1: 180 lbs x 10 reps
Set 2: 180 lbs x 10 reps

Prone Single-Leg Curl:
Set 1: 77.5 lbs x 10 reps/side
Set 2: 77.5 lbs x 8 reps/side

Finished off the lift with some walking lunges, which I almost always use to end a leg-focused day.

The hamstrings felt strong and full. The trap bar deadlifts moved really well today. I pushed hard, was completely exhausted afterward, but got that weird muscle-high feeling after the session.

Felt amazing.

Lunchtime was 45 minutes on the elliptical while watching El Grande Americano vs. “Original” El Grande Americano. Absolutely electric.

Working on my abdominal and thigh pose tonight. Got a good handle on the front double biceps pose, but now it’s time to tighten up the rest.

Daily posing practice from here on out.

Upper body tomorrow.
