Week 23 โ Quads โ ๐

Well-rested after an abs and cardio day on Sunday. Woke up at 163 lbs!
Spent most of the day meal prepping and baking banana bread with my youngest for a school presentation. I wish I could have tasted it.
Today kicked off Week 23 with a quad session at Goldโs:
Hack Squats:
Set 1: 365 lbs x 8 reps
Set 2: 345 lbs x 8 reps
Leg Extensions:
Set 1: 200 lbs x 10 reps
Set 2: 200 lbs x 9 reps
Single-Leg Press:
Set 1: 347 lbs x 10 reps/side
Set 2: 347 lbs x 9 reps/side
Leg Press:
Set 1: 707 lbs x 8 reps
Set 2: 707 lbs x 7 reps
Calf Raises:
Set 1: 450 lbs x 12 reps
Set 2: 450 lbs x 10 reps
Hack squat numbers keep climbing, although I felt pretty gassed afterward. Also noticed a little discomfort in my right hip. Nothing major, but Iโll give it some extra attention and recovery over the next couple of days.
Overall, quad strength is holding up really well.
One of the guys at the gym told me I looked like an action figure. Iโll probably be riding that compliment all week ๐
As usual, lunch was 35 minutes on the elliptical.
Push day tomorrow. Looking forward to it.
