It’s hard to describe, but sometimes that short walk back to work after a great lift just feels… right.
The workout went well, the weather was beautiful, I had a good amount of energy, and everything just clicked. I spent the walk back smiling like an idiot. It was one of those mornings where you simply feel good.
With only five days to go, I thought I’d be a lot more nervous than I am. I did reach out to the show organizer today with a few questions, but I haven’t heard back yet. I’m sure he’s just busy, but I’ll follow up tomorrow morning if I don’t hear anything.
Lunchtime was 30 minutes on the elliptical while catching up on some wrestling.
After work I got my full-body wax done. Thankfully it was nowhere near as painful as the first time. Expensive… but at painless.
The final checklist is getting pretty short now: clean up the facial hair, get the spray tan, and then… it’s time to step on stage.
Pull day tomorrow. Posing tonight.
