Brock Golds

Not going to lie, I’ve been sleeping really well these last few nights. It’s not what I expected being only four days out from the show.

This was my last big pull session before stepping on stage:

Pull-ups:
Set 1: 25 lbs x 8 reps
Set 2: 25 lbs x 6 reps
Set 3: BW x 9 reps

Low Rows:
Set 1: 140 lbs x 11 reps
Set 2: 135 lbs x 10 reps

Chest-Supported T-Bar Rows:
Set 1: 135 lbs x 8 reps
Set 2: 125 lbs x 8 reps

Cable Curls:
Set 1: 130 lbs x 10 reps
Set 2: 120 lbs x 8 reps

Reverse Pec Deck:
Set 1: 130 lbs x 12 reps
Set 2: 130 lbs x 11 reps

Shrugs:
Set 1: 90 lbs x 12 reps
Set 2: 85 lbs x 14 reps

Chin-ups:
Set 1: BW x 8 reps
Set 2: BW x 7 reps

I finished the session with 15 minutes on the elliptical, then called it there. From this point on, recovery is the priority.

The show organizer finally got back to me with the details I was waiting on. I’ll admit, I was starting to wonder if the show had somehow been cancelled. Glad to put that thought to rest.

Tonight is all about posing.

Tomorrow I’ll sleep in, keep the macros on point, and maybe get in a little pump work and some abs at lunch. After that, I’m off work until Wednesday.

Show prep is officially on.
