Week 20 β Quads β π¦

Victoria Day long weekend. Yesterday was spent park hopping and playing basketball with the boys. Got a little too much sun and lived up to my old softball nickname: Brock Lobster.
Today was quad day at the Y with the following setlist:
Front Squat:
185 lbs x 10 reps
185 lbs x 9 reps
Leg Extensions:
210 lbs x 10 reps
195 lbs x 9 reps
Calf Raises:
390 lbs x 16 reps
390 lbs x 12 reps
Leg Press:
685 lbs x 8 reps
665 lbs x 6 reps
Single-Leg Press:
335 lbs x 6 reps
305 lbs x 6 reps
More of a slow squeeze session today. No hack squat available, so I swapped in front squats instead. Kept the weight a bit lighter after the scare last time I ran them. Lots of pauses at the bottom and good tension throughout.
Got 30 minutes on the elliptical in before spending 20 minutes in the sauna.
Going to hike Mount Royal with the family today, then food prep and more posing practice.
Habs vs. Sabres Game 7 tonight β my heart canβt take many more of these stressful games.
