Week 26 β Upper Body β π

Rested pretty well last night and was ready for upper body this morning. The fun session of the week:
Pull-ups:
Set 1: 25 lbs x 8 reps
Set 2: 25 lbs x 7 reps
Set 3: BW x 8 reps
Incline DB Press:
Set 1: 90 lbs x 8 reps
Set 2: 80 lbs x 9 reps
Chest-Supported Cable Rows:
Set 1: 140 lbs x 14 reps
Set 2: 140 lbs x 12 reps
Dips:
Set 1: 100 lbs x 10 reps
Set 2: 100 lbs x 8 reps
Machine Shoulder Press:
Set 1: 165 lbs x 10 reps
Set 2: 165 lbs x 11 reps
Cable Curls:
Set 1: 140 lbs x 11 reps
Set 2: 140 lbs x 9 reps
Bentover Tricep Kickbacks:
Set 1: 30 lbs x 18 reps
Set 2: 30 lbs x 14 reps
Cable Lateral Raises:
Set 1: 40 lbs x 15 reps
Set 2: 45 lbs x 11 reps
Not thrilled with the incline DB press today, but everything else felt fantastic. The pull-ups continue to improve, and the arm work was some of the strongest itβs been all prep.
Skipped cardio after the lift to save some energy for taking the boys to the pool later. Planning to head up Mount Royal this evening once it cools off.
Posing practice is finally starting to feel natural. Thereβs a bit of flow to it now instead of feeling like Iβm just trying to remember where to put my hands and feet.
My wife says my left side is my strongest, so Iβm going to build around that for my side chest and side triceps poses.
One thing Iβve learned about posing is that you should practise in front of people earlier rather than later. It gives you a taste of the nerves youβll feel on stage and forces you to think through every pose instead of rushing through them. You take more pride in each pose when someone is watching.
Abs, cardio, and hopefully some extra rest tomorrow.
